Welcome to Oud Coffee & Cafe, a captivating gem located in the heart of Wicker Park, Chicago. This Middle Eastern-style cafe invites you to savor not only its rich coffee offerings but also a slice of Palestinian culture amidst its bustling ambiance.

At Oud Coffee & Cafe, you'll find an array of menu options designed to awaken your senses. Start your day on a high note with their breakfast menu featuring delightful creations like the Egg Avocado Toast for $15.94 and the flavorful Focaccia Breakfast Sandwich at $15.34, which melds fresh eggs, creamy avocado, chipotle mayo, spinach, and tomatoes on a succulent tomato focaccia. If you're in the mood for something lighter, their selection of bagels, including the beloved Lox Bagel priced at $16.54, promises to satisfy your cravings.

The coffee selection is where Oud truly shines. Customers rave about the unique Oud Latte, a striking blend of spices and flavors that indicates a new favorite brewing right here in the city, as highlighted by Alex Jackson in his glowing review. The aromatic allure of their Cold Brew ($7.80) and the satisfying Cappuccino ($6.00) only adds to the dynamic offering that captures both coffee aficionados and casual drinkers. The inviting coffee options, including the Italian Macchiato ($5.40) and distinctive Karak Tea, showcase traditional Middle Eastern elements intertwined with contemporary cafe vibes.

The atmosphere at Oud is another working charm — a vibrant blend of community spirit and cultural pride. With ample seating, it is the ideal spot to gather with friends or settle in for a work session while enjoying the delightful display of pastries that can make anyone's mouth water, as noted by multiple visitors. From the artistic baklava to seasonal specialties, the display case is a visual feast and a testament to their dedication to authenticity.

While the majority of reviews sing praises for the unique drink offerings and the cultural experience, some comments indicate room for improvement, particularly regarding certain coffee types. For example, Michael Damato mentioned that the drip coffee fell a little flat in comparison to the specialty drinks. Yet, the excitement around trying something new frequently outweighs these minor setbacks, as described vividly by excited patrons exploring the cafe's unique flavors.

Overall, Oud Coffee & Cafe is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a cultural experience waiting to be discovered. Whether you're stopping by to indulge in classic breakfast items or seeking out innovative coffee drinks, Oud promises a welcoming atmosphere filled with flavors and stories. I visited the original location in river north earlier this week and found it the new location is open! The Oud Latte is beautiful and might be my favourite latte in the city. Staff were super friendly and walked me through the menu and it's meaning in Palestinian culture. The baklava are a work of art and very affordable. I'll definitely be back, and often!

I have been here 3 times this week, I love how close this coffee shop is to me! Their menu is extensive and atmosphere is bustling with proud culture and community. I've had their karak tea, mint cafe, and oud latte. The oud latte is a satisfying blend of flavor and might be my favorite next to the karak. The display case of pastries makes your mouth water as you wait in line. On their opening day I decided to sample the date cake and pistachio lazy cake. While delicious, I was taken back by how expensive a single slice was ($10.29 each). Ordering a small latte, and those two cake slices, I ended up paying $34. I wouldn't question buying the cakes again if the portions were even $6 a slice. Overall, I know I'll be returning for the atmosphere, coffee, and karak tea. Best of luck to Ouds newest Wicker Park location!

Unique pastries and drink offerings at this middle eastern styled coffee shop. The pastries and specialty drinks we got were great! Definitely want to come back and get some Turkish coffee at some point down the line. Only knock would be that the drip coffee wasn't that great, it wasn't bad but it felt a bit flat. If you're in the neighborhood this spot is definitely worth giving a try.

Tried Oud Cafe and really enjoyed it! The oud latte was unique — definitely different, but in a good way. If you’re looking to try something outside the usual coffee flavors, this is a must-try. The cold brew was excellent too, smooth and very flavorful. Great spot if you’re into exploring new coffee experiences.

Beautiful place and a large menu. The place has a lot of seating options and would be nice to hang out or work. Tried their oud latte, the coffee itself was good and has nice spices but also had mint leafs in it which I didn’t enjoy, it just doesn’t go well with the drink.

I’ve been here twice since they opened and love this addition to the neighborhood. We’ve had a lot of coffee shops on division close recently and I’m so happy to see this one. I grew up with Turkish coffee and I know my family would love to see this shop if they lived in Chicago. The crème brûlée croissant and cardamom latte are SO good!

We visited around 9 AM on a Saturday. There were only two workers, but they were friendly. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time to get our order. The place had just opened, so it was generally clean, but our table was a bit dirty. The layout of the tables definitely needs improvement—they were scattered around in a way that blocked the line and gave the space a cluttered, unorganized feel. The coffee itself was good, but my cup was dirty and sticky, which was disappointing.
